The plan was we would hit china town for lunch but we had to stay at home until Denise successfully ordered some "exit" sign LEDs for her condominium. She is President of the Board after all. In classic Louise Hedges fashion, I was STARVING by the time she got off the telephone, which was about an hour later. So we hopped in the car to go to downtown Seattle and in turn China Town.
We looked around some shops, some of them selling really lovely things, and others selling the classic western view of authentic chinese items, such as massive gaudy buddhas and cheap resin dragons. As we left to finally get something to eat we walked into this black man called Ernest from Mississippi, who said that Denise was "Might fine for a white chick!" I swear, I nearly lolled.
We found this awesome little Japanese bookstore that didn't just sell books, it sold all kinds of cool little geeky things like manga merchandise and Domo-kun figurines, I nearly bought something, but was reminded that I could always come back and get it another time. It was great looking through the bookstore, mainly because it made me think I was in Japan again.
We then went to "Owajimiya" An oriental supermarket with an AMAZING foodcourt, I had a bento box which in Japanese means lunchbox. We had them all the time in Japan, they contain a variety of little lunchy things for you to eat, and I also bought my favourite sushi to nosh on in case I got hungry.
Me and Denise were feeling a bit bloated and tired after lunch so we went to Discovery Park. It is BEAUTIFUL, like a massive foresty wood thing, that people go to to jog/cycle/walk/make out etc. There are all kinds of beautiful plants and ferns out there, and it makes sure that the walk is just cool enough to handle. The view was gorgeous, especially when we reached the water, it shimmered in the sun.
After we had walked we drove back to Denise's and she had another kip while I facebooked for a bit and made sure I was still in touch with the world around me. We got ready for the massive drive ahead to get to Susie's and the farm in time to see Shannon and Marie before it got too dark. When we arrived I spotted Shannon right away, she's still got the cute little baby face and a nice frame. Her baby is ADORABLE! Honestly, Marie carries a massive "awwww" warning. You could catch diabetes just by looking at how sweet she is. I will post more pictures tomorrow so you can see for yourself.
I was given a quick tour of the house and a chance to settle in to my new room before bedtime. I chatted to Susie while she made the preparations for tomorrow's barbecue. It's gonna be fun!
Anyway I'm completely beat, so I'll see you tomorrow!

Yaaaaay!!
